Double Manual Harpsichord built by the Hubbard Workshop circa 1973 in the actual workshop, after the 1769 Taskin French Double Manual Harpsichord.
Five octaves, FF-f”’ (61 notes). There are three ranks of jacks and three choirs of strings, 2 x 8′, 1 x 4′, with a buff stop in the upper-manual 8′.
Fully decorated: Soundboard, Lid (front AND back), front length of the body, jack rail, inner walls surrounding the soundboard, walls surrounding the 2 keyboard registers.
Custom bench with a generous storage compartment for sheet music and tuning hammer. Maintained, regulated, and appraised by Los Angeles-based reputable harpsichord builder, Curtis Berak.
